I prefer undocking the Tools area because I don’t like the work area being constantly pushed left and right when selecting and uselecting an element (I don’t need the Tips, so I have activated “Auto hide).
My problem is then that when restart ForeUI the Tools area is docked again. ForeUI does not remember my layout settings.

We will implement the layout saving in official release.
BTW, if you dont’ like the work area to be pushed left and right when selecting element, you can uncheck “Auto hide tool panel when no element is selected” option in Settings->Editing.

Yes, but when I uncheck Auto hide the Tips are being shown, and I don’t need them. That’s why I checked the checkbox in the first place.
