Adding an image to an element in a list causes the list element to resize itself. It’s not that problematic since I hope to not do this action that often but it’s still a problem.

You can disable this behavior. Choose menu “Advanced->Settings”, under the “Edit” tab, uncheck the “Auto resize element after editing its content”.
