selectedText does not have a value until an item is actually selected in a ComboBox, which means it is blank even if the default (first item) in the combo list has text.

Hi Tim, I could not reproduce the problem you mentioned. The default selectedText value does exist on my end.

Maybe you can send us the plot file to check.

Thanks for the plot file and it is now confirmed a bug that only happen when ComboBox is embeded into container. We will fix it soon.

This is reported as Bug_0299 and fixed in V2.75
