1. Create a menu and make one of the menu commands selected.
2. Run Simulation
The selection is not shown in simulation. (When using a list item, the selection works fine.)

Actually it is a designed behavior. We think the menu is not a static component, it will not be shown until user do something to make it popup. It is kind of strange that menu has its default selection when it show up, the reason that we provide the selection feature in editing mode is to ease the item editing (assign the icon, disable item in the future etc).
