Hi,

I’m new to ForeUI and can’t seem to find a drop down menu element. Am I missing something or is there no such thing?

Hello Pieter-Jan,

There is an element named “ComboBox”, which can work as drop down menu.

Thanks for the swift reply!

A ComboBox is not what I’m looking for. I want to use ForUI primarily for website prototyping and need a horizontal bar menu with drop down sub menu’s. Isn’t that available?

Hi Pieter-Jan,

You can use the Menu or Multilevel Menu element. Just set it invisible by default and show it via action when user click button on horizontal bar.

Hi ViVi,

Had a few other things on my hands, but finally got around to trying out your suggestion. I finally got it to work. It took me a few attempts, since I ran in a few peculiarities, which I think may have to do with using the ForeUI 3 beta. Hopefully those will be ironed out with the final release. Maybe you can even squeeze in a professional menu system as well 😉
