Newly Released: ForeUI V3.0 RC

Hi all,

today I did the update to V3.0 RC (3.004). However, since then ForeUI doesn’t start any more. Using the launch.bat file, I was able to get the following error message:

I tried a clean installation and also the tar.gz bundle in order to try it again with a clean installation. Unfortunately, the problem remains the same.

Any suggestions?

Hi Rene, I noticed you were using Jdk7, could you try using Jre6 to run it?

thanks for your really quick reply. But unfortunately, the change to the JRE6 doesn’t solve the problem. Here is the excerpt of the error, while trying a 32bit JRE6 (I also tried its 64bit counterpart without any success):

I’ve put the path of the JRE(s) directly in the launch.bat in order to avoid the change of the JAVA_HOME. I hope that is sufficient.

I guess there are some old data in your foreui workspace directory, which may cause the problem.

Could you rename the C:Users(userName).foreui directory and try again?
