I would like to have an image fade in. I thought to control the image’s Opacity via a looping action, so I would gradually increase the opacity from zero to 255.

I placed an image inside a scrollable container, set the opacity of the scrollable container, then ran the simulation, and the opacity setting gave me the effect I wanted.

However, is there a way to get the image to fade-in during the simulation? If not, then what would you think of adding Opacity to the “Operate on element…” action?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi bgiovinazzo,

Currently only the Text Box element can support dynamically change its opacity. We will try to make the “Change Opacity” action available in all elements in V3.0. Also the “Change Visibility” action will support animation in V3.0, which will also cover your requirement.

PS: V3.0 should be release at the end of year 2011.

Thank you for your quick response.

That answers my question.

I’ll be looking forward to V3.0 at year-end.

Are you looking into this? I would also like this as a more general feature.

I just checked and this feature is still staying in the waiting queue, which is kind of long 🙂

We may not let all the elements to support this feature a time, but we will try to support this on a few simple elements soon.
